Young Man Beautifully Performs 'The Sound Of Silence' On The Voice Germany

A talented, young contestant on The Voice Germany stuns the judges with his beautiful performance of ‘The Sound Of Silence.’
Simon & Garfunkel originally released this iconic song in 1964. Since that time, many artists have lent their voices to the tune including one of the most well-known covers from the rock band, Disturbed, in 2015.

Then, a cappella group Pentatonix released their own version and it skyrocketed in popularity. Today, we’re hearing an entirely new rendition from Voice contestant David Maresch and it is absolutely amazing. Just listen as he belts out these famous lyrics.

Young Man Stuns With 'The Sound Of Silence' On The Voice Germany
19-year-old David Maresch made quite the impression with this ‘Sound Of Silence’ performance. It started out slow, but as David reached the chorus, his smooth vocals started to shine through and the judges noticed.
This classic song truly showcases David’s incredible range and talent. There is no doubt that he won over the judges and crowd as he hit every single note perfectly. And David is no stranger to singing for a large audience.
This young man has his own popular YouTube channel where he performs cover songs and inspiring originals, including a musical about cyberbullying.
