Strength Bible Verses: Be Strong in the Lord!

What does scripture say about strength? How can we find strength in the Lord against the forces of evil?
The Bible continuously tells us to not fear the powers and tribulations of this world, for Jesus overcame the world that we may live through Him. However, it is not by our own strength that we are strong and courageous against evil, but through the strength of the Lord by faith.
When we admit our own human weakness and foolishness, we allow the humility necessary to truly rely on God in all things. Through affirming our weakness, we can let go of the pride that would prevent us from full faith and reliance on God in spiritual warfare.
"But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me." - 2 Corinthians 12:9
