After Receiving a Message in a Dream from God, Christian YouTuber Shares What She Learned

After receiving a message in a dream from God, a Christian YouTuber named Sutton wanted to share what He said with everyone. So, she posted a video about the lesson the Lord gave to her.

Everyday living is often hectic and more times than not, a loud and noise-filled experience. People are trying to get from Point A to Point B, hoping to mark one more thing off their to-do list as quickly and efficiently as possible. Additionally, while this is happening, people often have their faces glued to a screen of some kind. Whether a phone, a tablet or a GPS device, most Americans are on the go and occupying themselves with something most of the day.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a woman states that the Lord spoke to her while sleeping following a request she made during her nightly prayers before going to bed.

Receiving A Message In A Dream

She mentions that she routinely asks the Lord to speak to her as she sleeps, which she says He does regularly. However, instead of asking the Lord to just talk to her during her slumber, she made that same request during her waking hours. 

But that’s when she, again, heard the voice of the Lord. He basically stopped that request before she could even finish it.

“And I really felt like God just kind of cut me off and was like, ‘The nighttime is when you’re quiet, and this is when I have your attention,’” she said. 

This move from the Lord caught her off guard. Only receiving a message in a dream at night forced her to reevaluate how she spends her waking hours.

“I’m like, wow, that when God feels like He can talk to me is in the nighttime,” she said. “I need to make myself available for Him throughout the day, and the Bible tells us to be still. So, I need to be still and be quiet. Turn off my music. Stop listening to an audiobook. You know? Just give Him moments in my day that I can hear his voice.”
