He'd Lost Everything But A Quick Stop On The Way To Get His Kids Turns Him Into A Millionaire

A Michigan man wins the lottery after purchasing a scratch ticket on impulse. And the $2 million jackpot is a huge blessing since the man just lost everything in a historic flood!

When intense flooding devastated areas in Michigan, one 29-year-man lost everything. A year later, while on his way to go pick up his kids, he decided to pull over at a convenience store to get a few things.

It turns out this impromptu stop was not by chance. God had a special reason for bringing this man into the store!

While in the store, the man impulsively decided to buy a lottery ticket. It's not something he'd normally do. But for some reason, he felt compelled to add a scratch ticket in with his groceries.

"I never play $20 tickets," he said. "But when I stopped to pick up a couple things on my way to pick up my kids the Lucky 7’s ticket caught my eye. Seven is a lucky number for me, so I decided to take a chance and bought the ticket."

Michigan Man Wins Lottery

As far as chance goes, the odds of the Michigan man winning the lottery jackpot of $2 million dollars were slim to none. Especially considering he's won before.

"A few years back, I won $10,000," the man explained. "And I thought that was my once-in-a-lifetime shot at winning the Lottery."

But after making it back to his vehicle and scratching off the ticket, the unthinkable happens. The Michigan man wins more than he ever dreamed in the lottery!

“I scratched it off when I got back to my car. When I saw I had a match, I thought: ‘Great, I won my money back!’ When I saw I had actually won $2 million, I couldn’t stop shaking.

Some might consider it a stroke of good luck. But we know luck had nothing to do with it. After dealing with such a huge loss, God blessed this man and his family with peace!

“Knowing my kids will be taken care of is the best feeling in the world,” the man said.

When times are tough, having faith can be difficult. But God will always provide for us -- often in remarkable ways we could never have imagined!
