She Noticed a Man Walking to Work Day After Day, and Then God 'Bopped' Her Over the Head

Rebecca Wendt noticed a man walking to work every day. And even though she didn't know the man at all, she suddenly felt God "bop" her over the head to bless him in a special way!

Life is a series of unexpected events and situations, many of which come with more than enough worries, stresses and anxieties.

Of course, those stressful and worrisome circumstances can negatively impact an individual and an entire family. That’s why random acts of kindness can have monumental, life-changing consequences.

Heath Nelson knows how much a stranger’s act of love and kindness can mean during a difficult time. And he'll never forget the moment God sent one of His earth angels to give Heath the help he so desperately needed!

Man Walking To Work Every Day After Bike Breaks

Heath Nelson would ride his electric bicycle to work every day. But when it broke down and stopped functioning, Heath was left without many options, according to KBTX News.

Needing to still make a living but without a mode of transportation to get him to his place of employment, Heath did the only thing he could do. The man began walking two hours to and from work every day.

“I try to do what I can to pay my bills,” Heath told KBTX.

However, little did he know that someone he didn’t even know, Rebecca Wendt, saw that he needed help. She saw him on the side of the road as he made his trek to work day after day. 

“It was just like God bopped me over the head and said, ‘Find out where that man lives and what his needs are,’” Rebecca said.

After getting in touch with the man she saw walking to work every day and learning about his situation, Rebecca got busy. She posted a message on social media, hoping to raise money to purchase Heath a new bike. 

Community Rallies To Help A Stranger

The outlet reports that only two hours later, Rebecca, thanks to the generosity of others, had raised more than $1,000 for Heath’s new electric bike. Rebecca then purchased the new bike and promptly delivered it to Heath, someone she had never even met in person before that moment.

“It’s emotional,” Heath said. “It brought tears to my eyes. You know, I mean, what she gave me was remarkable.”

But that was not all. Rebecca gave Heath the rest of the money raised, which had not been spent on the new bike. It’s money that Heath will use to buy a set of dentures.

“Oh, it’s a blessing, trust me,” said Heath. “The Lord works in mysterious ways.”
