Father Of 4 Died After He Fell Into A Manhole And His Family Needs Prayers

A family in Georgia needs prayer desperately after a father of four was injured and died following a workplace accident.

Life is a precious gift from God. No one can be entirely sure when they will take their last breath and when their time on earth will expire. A loved one could be here one minute and then gone the next. There is no way of knowing how much time God has allotted for each of us.

Sadly, a family in Georgia, which includes four little children, knows this reality all too well, according to WSB-TV. 

The outlet reports that 34-year-old Robert Hall, a plumber, was working on a job at Armuchee High School in Rome, Georgia when he fell into a manhole and passed away.

Robert was reportedly climbing down a ladder when he fell approximately 20 feet into the hole, People states. After landing in the maintenance hole, Robert lost consciousness. It was nearly an hour before crews were able to reach Robert, but sadly, their efforts were unsuccessful.

Like all passings, Robert’s death is devastating, particularly to his four children and his fiancée, Melina Rich. Robert and Melina were just months away from tying the knot. They were planning to marry in October, according to Atlanta News First. 

Robert’s 8-year-old daughter, Leeannahh, remembers her late father as a constantly happy person, calling him “the best.”

“He came home every day with a smile on his face,” she told WSB-TV.

GoFundMe Page Created to Help Family with Funeral Expenses

In addition to a ton of prayer, this hurting family is also in need of financial assistance. 

A GoFundMe page has been created to help the family with the funeral expenses. The page states, “Robert was the sole provider for his family with no insurance.”

In a follow-up post on the page, Melina thanked everyone for their prayers, love and support during this devastating time. She also asked for continued prayer as the family attempts to move forward.

“I will forever be thankful there are so many kind hearted people in the world,” she wrote. “My Robert was one of the best and I know he would be so grateful for your help in taking care of his family.”

Currently, almost $20,500 has been raised for Robert’s family from more than 300 donations.
