2 Of The Detty Sisters Sing 'Mary Did You Know' And Their Angelic Voices Are A True Blessing

The two oldest siblings from The Detty Sisters perform Mary Did You Know for Christmas and their angelic voices truly honor the real reason for the season!
It took over 7 years for singer-songwriter Mark Lowry to perfect the lyrics to Mary Did You Know. The idea came to him when he was writing a Christmas program for Jerry Falwell.

Mark started thinking about what he would ask Mary if she was sitting right in front of him. He wondered how she must have felt when the angel told her she would birth a child of God.
Then, he put together the questions that eventually became the lyrics we all know and love today.
‘Mary did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man?
Mary did you know that your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand?
Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod?
When you kiss your little baby, you kiss the face of God’
The Detty Sisters Take On Mary Did You Know
The Detty Sisters are comprised of four country siblings from southern Ohio. Peyton, Cadie, Lily, and Sophia have all been singing worship songs since a very young age.
