Comedian Mike James Shares the Hilarious 'Secret' to His 35-Year Marriage

Comedian Mike James and his wife have been married for 35 years. And he's got some funny things to say about the "secret" to his marriage, as well as the game he plays with his wife but never wins.
In this video, Mike makes a joke about how he is not sure what the secret of marriage is but that he has never been divorced and that it looks like too much paperwork.

Comedian Mike James talks about how when he was first married he was deployed a lot with the military, and now he is on the road as a comedian. He and his wife have to have a lot of quality time together to make things work as they don’t have a lot of time together.
They have date nights, such as going out for dinner. And when they do, his wife’s rule is that it can’t be one of the first seven places he suggested. He got a big laugh for that one.
Comedian Mike James Never Wins This Game
Sometimes he and his wife stay in and play games. His wife’s favorite game is, “Guess why I’m upset?”
“That’s a hoot,” Mike says, “I’ve never beat her. 35 years, I’ve never won. Not one time. I’m not even sure what the rules are.”

That one got a big laugh too.
Marriage isn’t easy and it does take a lot of work. But you have to laugh about it. Having a sense of humor, good communication, and relying on God will go a long way in having a long and healthy marriage.
While comedian Mike James jokes a lot about his marriage, it is clear that he loves his wife and enjoys bringing her up in his bits. Men and women can be so different, but finding ways to connect is so important.
