Cardinal Miracle: Grieving Family Asks For A Message From Heaven After Grandma Passes

In what the family is calling a Cardinal Miracle, the Lord uses a cardinal to let a grieving family know their loving Grandma is in Heaven. And now, the video has gone viral!
A special moment shared on Facebook by Angela Abbott Patteson quickly became an internet sensation. But it's the story behind the video that makes the Cardinal Miracle so amazing!

A few weeks ago, Angela's mother-in-law, Deborah Patteson, lost her mom at the age of 97. But before Grandma Dorothy Booth's death, the family talked about signs from Heaven.
Deborah recalled a faith-filled story she heard back in 2005. In it, a woman prayed and asked God to use a cardinal as a sign to let her know her deceased son was in Heaven. This inspired Deborah to ask God for a similar sign.
"I thought, 'Wow. Why can't we ask the same thing?'" Deborah recalls.

And so, Deborah and her sister asked their mom if, when she got to Heaven, she could ask the Lord to send them a sign. They also specifically asked for the message to involve a cardinal.
God Uses A Cardinal To Answer Grieving Family's Prayer
Well, just one day after Grandma Dorothy Booth's memorial service, God answered the family's prayer!
“They heard something at the kitchen window and my father-in-law Brian went out to check," Angela explained on Facebook. "A cardinal was there and he was able to bring it inside. For 10 min they held and pet it, then they decided to go outside to release it.”
The touching video showcases the moment that Deborah and her sister walk outside to release the bird. And the cardinal seems in no rush to leave!
It’s truly a beautiful moment. You can just feel the peace of God surrounding this grieving family.
John 14:1-3 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”
