Hymn: "Jesus, Lover of My Soul." Waggoner & MacLaren, First OPC Perkasie, PA 4/29/12
Waggoner and MacLaren sing this beautiful hymn composed by Charles Wesley in 1740 when Wesley was in hiding from a mob attempting to kill him. The hymn expresses the prayer of God's people to be hidden in Christ. This hymn was sung from the original Trinity Hymnal of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church on April 29, 2012, during the Sunday Worship Service of First Presbyterian Church, Perkasie PA (www.firstchurchopc.org). Accompanying Mr. Joseph Waggoner and Rev. R. Scott MacLaren is Mrs. Rebekah Waggoner on the piano.

Aside from wanting a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church, at the top of my list was wanting a church that desired to truly know its people.
