I was bored.... so I made an AMV...
How Light is dead because he casts away his morals for the sake of 'justice'... justice without morals means nothing, thus Light is not justice, but, I quote Near 'nothing but a crazy serial killer. That's ALL you are'. Besides, he has no right no kill people. He is just as sinful as those he is killing. Who is HE to choose what justice is? He's nothing but a hypocrite.
However, L stands for justice with morals, and is thus alive. Light loses his memories, and being around L brings life back into him. However, when he gains his memories he 'falls' and is dead again.
