Coal Miner Sings 'The Star-Spangled Banner'
Each day, at the start of their shift, these coal miners have a safety meeting before heading underground.
On this particular day, Josh Stowers decided to sing a soul-stirring rendition of 'The Star-Spangled Banner.' There's something about this particular version that truly makes my heart soar with pride. Each man removes their helmet and lowers their head in honor of the iconic song. And Josh's voice is truly a gift from above.
I'm so glad he's using his talent to spread unity and pride with his coworkers. Who else is in awe of this performance?

A Prayer for God to Be Your Shield and Portion Today - Your Daily Prayer - May 24
I love this passage in the Bible because it sums up the spiritual reality in all difficult circumstances. How many times do we see the enemy and opposing forces against us, just like Elisha’s servant? And that puts us in a panic - yet the angelic armies of the Living God are unseen but present nonetheless, and far greater. We just need to see that substantial truth!
