We’ve all had that moment. The moment when you get back from the stylist and cry on the couch with a pint of ice cream as you call your best friend to ask if your haircut is just as bad as you think it is.

I once went in for an inverted bob and color only to come home with yellow brassy color and a ‘u’ shape on both sides of my head. By the time my friends and family all saw, everyone concluded I could not be trusted to make on own hair choices as a 40-year-old woman.

The dog in a video on TikTok had his own grooming mishap. He ended up coming out as a hilarious example of what happens when haircuts go wrong!

I have a feeling the pooch in this video would give anything to see another groomer and request de-shedding shampoo and beg for magical grooming clippers to prevent his body from looking like Bob Ross. At just the right angle in the video, the dog looks like a tater tot that’s been over-baked.

If you don’t believe me, check out footage of this tater tot, Bob Ross look-a-like for yourself. TikTok user Minimumio recently shared a video of this fluffy furball which has been viewed more than 136 million times. 

Others who watched the video not only had a great laugh, they couldn’t help but make comparisons. Dozens commented he looked like the Lorax. Others said he looked a little like Shaun The Sheep from the right angle. Thousands of comments, however, talked about haircuts gone wrong in their childhood. 

Needless to say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and it does take a skilled stylist to create a gorgeous hairstyle.

I’m guessing this pooch went home and licked his wounds while begging for extra treats to ease the pain of a groomer style gone wrong. I’m sure when he went for walks with his owner, they reassured him this, too, shall pass and grow out.
