Tips For Jesus Inspires Others To Pay It Forward

Pay it forward!
This is the greatest (as far as money goes) "pay it forward" story I've ever seen. This kind stranger, who wishes to remain anonymous, has been giving HUGE tips for quite a while and apparently has no intention of slowing down. Or, at least we hope not!
His popular Instagram account known as "Tips for Jesus" has been keeping track of these tips and the amount is staggering.

Tips for Jesus began in September 2013 with a $3,000 gratuity on a bill of $87.98. Since then, each tip often more than ten times the size of the bill, is recorded on the Tips for Jesus Instagram, often with a picture of the surprised and delighted server.
That's a $5,000 tip on a $250 bill. The pictures document the reaction each tip had on the busy server who discovered it.
The anonymous tipper hopes his actions will inspire a culture of copycats. In fact, that is one of the reasons he has chosen to use social media to publicize it. For him, Tips for Jesus is not a replacement for philanthropy, but an extension of it. And if doing random acts of great generosity becomes a trend, that can't be anything but a good thing.
