Let's Storm The Gates Of Heaven

Duck Dynasty's Sadie Robertson understands a thing or two about the power of prayer. That is why she is petitioning her fans to "storm the gates of Heaven" for Katie Joyce, a sweet little girl battling cancer — for the second time.

When Katie she was just two years old in 2010, she was was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Katie received brain surgery at the Children’s Hospital in Memphis, and she endured 33 rounds of radiation at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Sweet Katie also fought her way through physical therapy to learn to walk again. After many more test and procedures she was declared victorious over her first battle with cancer.

But unfortunately, Katie has to fight cancer yet again. The family recently learned the Katie has another brain tumor, but this one is said to be inoperable because it is located on the brain stem.The doctors know that they need a miracle, and luckily we know where miracles come from.

“The doctors say we need a miracle,” Sadie wrote on Instagram. “The only thing that can fix this is if we storm the gates of heaven.”

And that is what we are going to do. We are going to storm heaven with prayers of healing for precious Katie because we believe that with God all things are possible!

Sadie’s prayer request has received 158,000 likes and more than 9,000 comments of encouragement and prayers for a miracle.

Dear Jesus, thank you for blessing the world with Katie. She is such a precious little girl, and because of you she has won her first battle with cancer. Lord, you are The Great Physician. You made Katie, and you can heal any sickness in her body. We ask that you would remove the cancer from Katie’s brain. We believe that you can and we believe that you already did when you died on the cross. Let it all be for your glory.
