Swing Dance Partners Earn First Place With Their Rockin' Routine

It's no wonder these dancers won first place at this dance competition! Their swing dance pulled out all the stops with an added rock twist that no one saw coming.

Swing dancing is one form of entertainment that really makes you want to get up out of your seat and move along to the song. It’s so hard to sit still when the dancers are moving all over the floor and appear to be having the time of their lives. And that’s exactly what swing dancing couple Ben Morris and Jennifer DeLuca are doing today.

These two talented dancers are competing at the Capital Swing Dancers' Presidents' Day weekend convention at the Red Lion Woodlake Hotel in Sacramento, California. As they are being introduced, everyone is expecting your normal dance routine.

Entertaining Swing Dance Wins First Place At Competition

Most competitors use upbeat, classic music like Frank Sinatra or other Rat Pack members. But this couple decided to shake things up by using a bluesy-rock song that no one saw coming. Even their moves are fresh and unique while still maintaining the integrity of the sport.

Ben and Jennifer truly look like they are having so much fun out on the floor. I just can’t get over how fast they are moving and the skill they have with each and every move.
