Children can be difficult, stressful, expensive, and tiring at times. Despite this, most parents would still do anything they could for their children. A parent’s love for their child is an unfailing kind that endures time and distance. A video on social media shows the kind of long-lasting love a parent has for a child.

A video posted on Instagram shows the absolute joy and surprise on a parent’s face after an unexpected encounter with her child. The video is of a mom who reunites with her son after being apart for 2 years, according to the video’s caption.
The video shows what appears to be a small family gathering or party. People fill the small room, with individuals sitting or standing in various spots.
The short clip continues as a woman sits on a couch, looking down a hallway as somebody holds up a rug. Everyone in the room stares in the direction of the rug as it dangles in the air expectantly. The rug soon after drops, but there is nothing. Party attendees share a laugh as they were all obviously expecting something!
Mom Reunites With Son
After being directed to hold on for just a few seconds, a man picks up the carpet off the floor. It’s time to give it one more attempt. It’s time for take two.
The carpet drops for the second time. Now, we see a man and a woman holding a baby. Following the big reveal, the camera switches positions. The camera now shows us the woman on the couch who has immediately burst into tears.
Seconds later and mom reunites with her son and the two share in an extended and loving embrace.
What a sweet, heartfelt reunion! There likely wasn’t a dry eye in that entire room.
