Mom's Emotional Post About Visiting Her Baby's Grave

The Sad Truth Behind The Grave Pictured
Have you ever been scrolling through Facebook, when a photo seems to just jump out at you, begging for a closer look? That's what happened when Amanda Hartwig shared a picture of a visit she and her kids recently made to a grave. But I was absolutely shattered to learn the grave belonged to her first son, Bo Williams Hartwin, who was less than one year old when he left this world. [rsnippet id="2" name="ArticleAd-300x250-3"] The emotional post that accompanied the picture was just as heartbreaking. But it's also an important reminder to cherish every moment with our loved ones, because you never know what's around the corner. Here is the touching post shared by Amanda:"Imagine for a moment; Visiting your child's grave. Your baby. The one you spent 12 hours in labor with. The one you gave birth to.
The one you spent hours with awake at night. The one who would smile all the time. The one you held ever so tightly. Close to your heart. The boo-boo's you kissed.

Painted black and dreary. Blanketed with shock. Imagine. Finding your precious baby. Your child not breathing. Having to preform CPR. Knowing it's too late but praying to God That a miracle can happen.

Imagine. Seeing the doctor shake her head. Watching their heart beat by a machine. Covering them with tears. And prayer. Imagine. Clinging to old photographs. Holding a favorite blanket or teddy. Smelling their old clothes. Watching your world fall apart.

Living in the past. Wishing to go back. Thinking 'If only I knew'- 'I could have' or 'I should have' Imagine the hormones of pregnancy. Mixed with the agony of child loss. Imagine. Explaining to your other children. Who their sibling is. And Why this tragedy happened.

Having to visit your beloved here. Your other children seeing their sibling. Seeing them like this. Imagine. Cherish. Live. Love."
