Michelle Trachtenberg Calls Out Online Trolls After Her Photos Draw Cruel Comments

Michelle Trachtenberg photos can be found on her Instagram account. Like many other celebrities, she is posting her real life to her fans. This is a great way to get to know more about them. 

However, things go a little south when people start making mean comments to Michelle about how she currently looks. When she shared a photo at the hair salon with her friend, Alexa PenaVega, she received the comment, "Michelle, U look sick. Ru ok?"

Michelle responds, "Explain to me how I look sick. Did you lose a calendar and not realize I’m not 14. I’m 38. How sad for you to leave such a comment."

Michelle is Now 38 Years Old

Michelle, the Gossip Girl and Ice Princess star, is now 38 years old. While she has been acting since before she was three, and we know her from a lot of her roles as a child or a teen, she has grown older and isn't going to look the same as she did 15-20 years ago.

This is hard for people to wrap their heads around, and where the root of the comments about the Michelle Trachtenberg photos comes from. Still, no one needs to be cruel. 

Back in 2009, she took a stand against bullies while promoting the movie, 17 Again. In an interview she says, "I would like to go back to high school as an adult. And maybe one day create a charity where I'm an advocate against harassment and hazing in schools and I want to sit down with bullies one day and say, 'Why, what benefit do you have?'"

Not Everyone is a Hater 

In another Instagram post, Michelle shows off her pink tips in her hair, and says, "I’ve received several comments recently about my appearance. I have never had plastic surgery I am happy and healthy. Check yourself haters."

But not everyone is a hater. One commenter says, "I don’t understand why people don’t get that we all age and overtime we don’t look 100% the same! Our faces, and our bodies change. Most of us still love you." Another comments, "None of us look now what we used to look 10 or 20 years ago and there's nothing wrong about that. You look great!"

It is nice to see that there are kind people out there too. Leaving comments that uplift others instead of tearing them down.
