Story Of Rare Triplet Pregnancy Where Mom Got Pregnant While Already Pregnant With Twins

A first-time mom amazingly got pregnant while pregnant with twins. Now, she explains how it happened as well as opens up about her miraculous triplet pregnancy!

The idea of getting pregnant while pregnant may sound far-fetched. And while it is extremely rare, it is absolutely possible.

It’s an event called superfetation. Normally, once a woman conceives her body stops ovulating. However, that wasn't the case for this mom.

“Your hormones are supposed to stop you from ovulating [after getting pregnant]. Mine did not,” she said in a TikTok video explaining the rare triplet pregnancy. 

So, around 10 days after conceiving her twins, the mother ovulated again and conceived a third child!

The Miracle Of How She Got Pregnant While Pregnant

For some, going from expecting twins to expecting triplets may seem a bit bizarre or even shocking. However, the Taming Triplets mom counts each of her children as a blessing.

“We were just very, very lucky and blessed and thankful and happened to just spontaneously get pregnant with triplets,” she said. “We wanted to be parents and God went, ‘Watch out what you ask for’ and gave us three at once.”

This sweet mom continued documenting her triplet pregnancy on social media, amassing millions of followers across TikTok and Instagram. She adopted a candid approach -- openly discussing how she got pregnant while pregnant, answering questions from followers, and sharing both the joys and struggles of carrying three babies.

Doctors deemed her as "high risk" and put the first-time mom on bed rest. They even recommended the couple consider genetic testing and even reducing the number of babies through selective abortion.

However, the Taming Triplets mom placed her babies' fates right where they belong -- in the hands of God!

"We want to move forward with all three babies. No genetic testing, no selective reduction," she said. "We just pray and hope the babies are going to be healthy... Even if they did have an issue we are going to love them no matter what."

After she got pregnant while pregnant, the Taming Triplets mom navigated the hurdles of carrying triplets with excitement and faith, trusting her babies would be alright. She clung to that faith and asked for more prayers when doctors rushed in for an emergency c-section well before the 32-week pregnancy mark.

In the span of five minutes, this brave mom gave birth to three girls at 29 weeks, naming them Vivienne, Georgina (Georgie), and Ivy. And what incredible miracles these children are!

This incredible mom is keeping everyone updated via the Taming Triplets TikTok and Instagram pages. And she has continued to request prayers as these tiny warriors spend time in the NICU getting stronger.
