Bethel Take On Classic Hymn, 'It Is Well'
This modern-day worship song is an update of the classic hymn. 'It Is Well With My Soul' was written by Horatio Spafford and composed by Philip Bliss. After Horatio lost all four of his daughters, he wrote down these words as a testament of how God is with us through the good times and the bad.
Kristene DiMarco of Bethel Music rewrote the lyrics in 2014 and it makes this hymn even more powerful. Today, American Idol contestant Genavieve Linkowski is lending her voice to this worship song and it’s absolutely beautiful.
