Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Dinner
The short clip starts off with the Peanuts gang sitting around a table and Peppermint Patty being ungrateful for Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving dinner. “What’s this? A piece of toast, pretzel sticks, popcorn!” she says. “Where’s the turkey?!”
After Peppermint Patty gets mad about the subpar meal and hurts Charlie Brown’s feelings, Marcie explains to everyone at the table the real meaning of the day.
“Thanksgiving is more than eating, Chuck. You heard what Linus was saying out there. Those early Pilgrims were thankful for what had happened to them, and we should be thankful, too. We should just be thankful for being together,” Marcie says. “I think that’s what they mean by ‘Thanksgiving,’ Charlie Brown.”

What a simple and sweet lesson for us all. Being together really is what it is all about.
Who we spend Thanksgiving with is far more important than the quality of the food we eat at the table!
May we all take this short video as a reminder to be thankful for what we have. When our hearts are content and grateful, we can truly see all the blessings that God has given us!

Colossians 3:15-17
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
