Border Collie Spent 2 Months Roaming 50 Miles

Carol and Casey have been together since Casey was a puppy. And then one day, Carol just disappeared. Or at least, that's the way it seemed to Casey. And she was determined to find her owner. So, the Border Collie spent 2 months roaming 50 miles to find her long lost owner!

In reality, Carol had not up and left her fur-baby. She wouldn't dream of it! The woman who lives in the UK simply asked a friend to watch Casey while she finished moving houses. But before Carol was able to come back and retrieve her pup, Casey escaped from the friend's house.

On The Search

Determined to find her beloved owner, Casey took off on her search. Meanwhile, Carol and her friends looked high and low for the missing Border Collie, but to no avail. After a few weeks, Carol started losing hope.

"We didn't hear anything and I thought, that's it, he's died," she recalled.

Desperate, Carol turned to Facebook, posting lost dog announcements begging for help. While she received several calls from around the UK reporting Casey sightings, no one was able to catch him.

Finally, Carol got the call she'd been praying for. Casey had been picked up and identified by his microchip.

"I just burst into tears. I can't describe it," she said.

As it turns out, the Border Collie spent 2 months roaming 50 miles looking for Carol. Over that time, he'd lost more than 20 pounds. But now, he was going home!

It was more than a dream come true. It was a miracle!

"When your dog's been missing for two months you just don't believe you're going to see him again," Carol said.

And it was a joyous reunion for both dog and owner!

"He howled, he cried, he jumped all over," Carol recalled.

Thank God these two are back together. What a special bond!

After 5 weeks lost at sea, this dog miraculously reappeared!
