Anne Wilson’s Brother Passed Away and Now She Opens up About the Lord’s Healing

Christian musician Anne Wilson's brother passed away and now she has opened up the Lord’s healing in an emotional video.

Everyone will experience painful, heartbreaking and distressing moments. It’s a sad reality of life. There will be times that rip your heart out of your chest and leave you feeling absolutely gutted and crying out for help, comfort and healing.

However, there is one who understands our pain. He knows what it’s like to experience pain and heartache. Even amid those terrible situations, the Lord is still in control, and He can and will provide healing and comfort to the hurting and grieving.

Anne Wilson’s Brother Passed Away and She Opens up About It

In a clip posted on social media, Anne opened up about her brother’s death. She also shares how he was taken from her and her family at the young age of 23. Her brother was killed in a car crash on June 7, 2017.

Later in the video, Anne states that while she and her family were hurting and grieving, the Lord started to perform a miracle. He started to heal them and changed the direction of Anne’s life. Anne said the first time she sang in public was at his funeral. Initially, Anne wanted to be an astronaut and work for NASA. She had no plans to do anything to do with music.

“I had all these dreams and hopes and visions of what my future would look like, and it was nothing to do with music,” Anne said.

But the Lord had other plans for Anne’s life.

“And when Jacob was killed, my life changed drastically,” she said. “I began to see what it means to live a life that honors and glorifies God. What it means to use my time on Earth for the kingdom of God, to grow it further and further for His glory.”

Anne states that the Lord has brought her and her family to a place where they feel healed, even though that pain and hurt are still very much real.
