We’ve all seen them, here, there. On the lawns of churches or at a local restaurant. We look for signs to get information, tell us which direction to go, or see what’s on the menu. There are those rare instances we even get to see funny signs that are unexpected. The weird ones that make us take a second look. Some places have decided that giving us a giggle and a good laugh is sometimes more important than anything else. They’re right!

Jesus told us, “Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow” (Matthew 6:34). That is a good word to think on as we make the most of each day. A good laugh is always appreciated, especially when we need a distraction from life’s difficulties. A good tickle to the funny bone washes the anxiety away. Laughter brings us closer to people, and tells us not to take things so seriously. If we are made in God’s image, and we enjoy laughter, what does that say about God?
