6 Most Anticipated Christian Books To Release Still In 2014

If you are an avid reader, there are most likely books that you are dying to read and can’t wait to be released. I love certain authors and look for their latest books because of the heart and soul they pour into each page. Here are six of the most anticipated Christian books that will be released in 2014.

6. Addicted to Busy by Brady Boyd

Watch out for Addicted to Busy by Brady Boyd this fall. Life can get in the way of fulfilling God’s will and it’s easy to fall into the trap of skipping rest. Boyd has a captivating way of reminding us that the context of our lives is provided by God. Each day is more than just running errands and going to work. Boyd states that he is both the worst and best person to write Addicted to Busy because he has fallen into this trap many times. Brady Boyd is a Pastor at New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado and has also written Fear No Evil, Sons & Daughters, and Let Her Lead.

5. Insights on John by Charles R. Swindoll

If you have read the other volumes in Charles R. Swindoll’s Living Insights New Testament Commentary series, you will want to add Insights on John to your collection. 3. The Wholehearted Wife by Erin Smalley, Gary Smalley and Greg Smalley

When The Wholehearted Wife will release in July 2014, Bible study leaders and women will gain insight into how changing themselves can make a huge impact on their marriage. It’s easy to want to change your spouse, but changes a woman makes while focusing on being the best wife she can be creates a positive outlook. Gary Smalley has written numerous Christian books about marriage and family topics, including Making Love Last Forever. Greg and Erin Smalley both work at Focus on the Family and have written other books, including Before You Plan Your Wedding…Plat Your Marriage.

2. The Family of Jesus by Karen Kingsbury

Karen Kingsbury brings another outstanding book for readers in July. The Family of Jesus immerses you in deep Bible studies and helps you understand and connect with Jesus’ family. Every person Jesus was closest to offers a unique story and experience we can learn from. Uncover more about Mary and Joseph, John the Baptist, Elizabeth and Zechariah, and Jesus’ brother James. 1. Eight Twenty Eight by Ian and Larissa Murphy

I first heard about the life of Ian and Larissa Murphy by watching a video that shared their love story. The husband and wife met in college and had only known each other for a few months before a near-death car accident left Ian with severe brain damage. Larissa had faith and although their journey has been slow, she stood by Ian’s side. She has encouraged him, helped him and exemplified what true unconditional love means. This book will change what you believe about love and how selfless love is so beautiful. Look for this book in late August.

I know my book list for the year is quickly growing, so I am prioritizing which ones are my must reads. Christian books are so uplifting, encouraging and help me grow spiritually. What books are you looking forward to reading later this year? Be sure to share this list so your friends will stay ahead of the most anticipated books coming out in 2014.
