Pregnant Waitress Received A 900 Dollar Tip

Restaurants don't typically offer their staff any kind of maternity leave, so Sarah has been grabbing every shift she can to prepare for her baby girl's due date, which is just a few short weeks away. The stress is only made worse by the fact that her fiancé is out of work too, thanks to a knee injury. He is about to head into surgery. So, it's been a trying time for the couple. But God knows our needs. And He always finds a way to provide. He used one of His angels here on earth to do just that for Sarah! Blessed By An Angel

A regular customer, who happened to be pregnant as well, knew Sarah's situation.

“I had talked to her in the past about my fiancé being injured and him being out of work, and me taking leave," Sarah recalled.

So, when this same customer came to pick up her takeout, she left something extra on her credit card slip for Sarah. The pregnant waitress received a 900 dollar tip, and a handwritten note reading:

"This is God's money -- He gave it to us so we could give it to you. God bless."

The gift was so unexpected it left Sarah in shock at first. And then it sunk in.

"I couldn't believe what I was looking at at first because it was such a high amount," she said. "Nine hundred dollars is a lot of money. It took a while for it to set in, and once it did I cried for a little while."

She says it will help immensely with bills and rent, and she hopes to one day pay the kindness forward. For now, the incredible blessing is a reminder that God always provides.

"You always hear about these happening, but you never expect to be the recipient of it," she said. "It's a huge, huge help for me and my family."
