Every Night They Hear A 'Knock' At Their Door And Open It To Find The Neighbor's Dog

A cute and hilarious video posted on social media shows how one animal gets its best friend to come out and play every day. 

People overlook the intelligence, intuitiveness and emotional awareness of animals consistently. Sure, they all act on instinct and pure desire, but they are pretty darn smart as well. The good Lord equipped them with a brain, and they know how to use what they have to get what they want.

A short, 26-second video on TikTok shows how one family consistently, every single day has a visitor at their front door. The video begins with a look at an old, beat-up door.

Accompanying the closeup of the door is a low, muffled scratching. Text in the video explains that this scratching, or “knock,” at the door happens every night. The knocking/scratching slowly gets louder, almost as if the being on the other side is growing annoyed.

Seconds later, a hand appeared on the doorknob. A quick turn and pull of the handle revealed that the individual on the other side of the door was a boxer, who looks up expectantly.

The woman who opened the door kindly greets her cute, four-legged visitor.

“Oh, hello,” she says. “What do you want? Do you want your friend to come out?”

The boxer, as if thinking through the woman’s greeting and question, turns its head slightly. Seconds later, and it’s clear why the boxer has made its way to the woman’s doorstep.

The Boxer Wanted Its Buddy to Come Out and Play

The boxer just wanted its buddy, a fellow dog named “Chewy” to come out and play. The video concludes with the two doggy best pals wrestling together.

The video of the animal looking for its best friend has gotten a lot of attention. It has been viewed more than 1.5 million times!

What an absolutely sweet video that shows that love and friendship even extend into the animal kingdom, between two dogs.
