Stepmom Tried To Ruin Her Wedding But The Bride's Mom Has Solution

Divorce is never an easy thing. And when there are kids in the mix, it’s not just a matter of signing the papers and going your separate ways. Each parent will always be connected to one another’s lives through their kids. And even when both parents are trying to “play nice,” there are still going to be some pretty awkward situations.

When Jennifer is about to get married, her divorced parents are naturally very much part of this special day. But Jennifer’s new stepmother isn’t exactly supportive through the process. But Jennifer’s mom finds the perfect way to take the high road, while still getting the last laugh! It’s unclear whether this is a true story, or one just meant for entertainment. But either way, it will leave you smiling!

Turning The Other Cheek At Wedding
With Jennifer’s wedding day getting closer, nothing could make the excited bride lose momentum. Not even her parents’ divorce.
Jennifer’s mom had found the perfect dress and would look like a beautiful mother-of-the-bride on her daughter’s big day.
But just one week later, Jennifer discovered that her father’s 25-year-old wife had bought the exact same dress as her mom…
So she asked her stepmom to return it but the young wife refused.
“No way! I look amazing in this dress, and I’m wearing it,” she replied.
Jennifer broke the bad news to her mother but the matron took it surprisingly well.
“Don’t worry, darling. I’ll just find a new dress. It’s your special day and this won’t get in the way.”
Just a few days later, they went shopping and found another beautiful dress.
When they got home, Jennifer asked her mom, “When will you return the other dress? You don’t really have another reason to wear it anytime soon.”
“Of course I do!,” her mom replied. “I’m going to wear it for the rehearsal dinner the night before your wedding.”
Now that last line just had me giggling! But it does go to show that you don't have to be mean spirited to make a point. Choosing to be the bigger person always has far better results than trying to exact revenge.
