Distressed Mama Cat Carries Her Kitten Into Hospital to Get Help

Believe it or not: a mom cat carrying her kitten to the hospital knew just where to go to get some much-needed help. And it just goes to show the lengths that mothers will go to for their babies.

Of course, once the cat arrived in distress, the staff guided her inside. But the sight of this mom cat carrying her little kitten to get some help is beautiful.

At the hospital, this mother cat needed help for her kitten with an eye infection. She carries the kitten in her mouth toward the doctor.

The staff watches in amazement.

The hospital has been seeing the kitten’s mother for some time before the kitten’s eye infection even occurred. The staff had been taking care of the mother by providing food and water to the stray. On this particular day, the cat brought in her kitten with an important “request.” 

One staff member said, “ 'We were giving food and water to the mother cat living on the street with other people living in this area. However, we did not know that she gave birth to kittens.”

“As we began to receive patients in the morning, she showed up with her kittens. She asked for help, meowing for a long time. We were shocked.” 

Mama Cat Knew Where To Take Kittens For Help

The staff found that the kitten’s infected eye prevented it from opening. With the assistance of a veterinary clinic, they were able to provide treatment for the kitten. The vet gave the tiny cat eye drops to help ease its suffering.

“We consulted with veterinarians and gave medicine as described. When the kittens opened their eyes a short time later, we were thrilled.”

“Later, we sent the mother cat and kittens... for further care. This is the first time something like this has happened to us. We were emotional and delighted to see that they recovered well.”

How comforting to know, the aid and provision that God even provides for the animals. Jesus spoke to His followers about this before, and His words are a useful reminder for us today. He provides.
