Australian Couple Walks Into Their Bedroom To Find the Cutest Koala

An Australian couple walks into their bedroom to find the cutest Koala. But he wasn’t in the mood to cuddle as adorable as he was. Fran Dias Rufino and her husband Brunno shared the hilarious moment on Instagram. They had just come home from the late night shift at 12:30 a.m. when they walked into their room and found an intruder. It wasn’t the kind you’d expect. Most intruders would likely be human, ruffling through drawers and stealing the valuables. But this intruder was looking for a cozy spot to sleep for the night.

Much like the story of ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears,’ this little fella was looking for just the right spot to sleep. He tried the carpet, but it was too hard. He tried the nightstand, but it was too narrow. He tried the bed, and it was just right. But that put Fran and her husband Brunno in a precarious situation. Where were they going to sleep? Perhaps the better question was how they would get the little critter to leave.

Fran captured the little guy on camera, and he wasn’t shy about it. She then captioned it “We came from work now (12:30 am) and we just found A KOALA in my bedroom in my bed.” Still in shock, they had a wild but adorable bear in their bedroom; she then asked, “Any tips? I was so nervous that I forgot my English, @rufinobrunno put him out in the end but I was scared because he was aggressive.”

As they gently but firmly escorted the little fellow out of the house, it tried to bite them. I don’t know about you, but I would take a koala any day over finding a mouse, or spider, or some other creepy crawler in my bedroom. So remember, if you’ve had a rough day at work, just remember–at least you didn’t find a koala in your bed!
