During A Powerful Tornado, A Couple Is Kept Safe By The Hand Of GOD!

Divine Protection During A Vicious Tornado

Tornados are not all that common in Virginia. So when seven swept through the state in one day, the devastation was shocking. Donna and Paul Richardson of Tappahannock, Virginia, were inside their home as the fierce winds literally began ripping it apart at the seams. And they are thanking God for His protection during the harrowing ordeal. He ran to find Donna, and as the two huddled inside a closet for safety, they listened to the roof being ripped right off the top of their house. And it just kept getting worse.

“Next, we started hearing nails popping, and then the whole bottom of the downstairs just disappeared from underneath us, and my husband jumped on top of me,” Donna recalls.

But in going head to head with a tornado, the couple is fully aware that it's nothing short of a miracle to have come out the other side with their lives. And Donna was truly humbled by her husband's heroic and selfless act to save her:

"If it weren’t for my husband I wouldn’t be here. I’m so blessed to be here. He saved my life,” Donna tearfully explained.

"But as we're going along, I could feel a hand pressing down on me to hold us down on the ground, and protecting us the whole time that this was going on," Paul explains.
