Hilarious Reaction From 3-Year Old During Relay Race Totally Steals the Show

A hilarious reaction from a 3-year-old little girl unexpectedly steals the show during a relay race.
In this video, we have a mom at her alumni track meet with her three-year-old daughter. You can hear a man say, “Wait for Mama. Wait for her to go, here she comes, get ready run…” encouraging the little girl.

However, as the mom approaches and tries to hand the baton to her, the three-year-old runs away and starts to scream. She wasn’t quite sure what this relay thing was all about.

Mom eventually hands her the baton, and they run down the track together.
The captain for the video says, “Ok so the baton handoff needs some work 🤣.” While this is true, it made for a cute video.

Many in the comments had some great things to say about it. One commenter writes, “I love that she didn't care someone was running passed her; she's just happy she's doing it with her daughter.” Another says, “And I’m sure there was a talk in the car before the race about grabbing the baton from mom 😂😂😂😂😩”

Running a relay with your child seems like a great way to get them used to how a relay race works. That exercise can be a lot of fun. Hopefully, this little girl enjoyed herself. And hopefully she wants to run more races with her mom in the future. She is pretty young, so there is definitely hope that she can master the art of grabbing a baton during a race.
