Touching Post Announces Gender Of Bindi Irwin Baby And This Little One Is Already So Loved

A beautiful, zoo-themed post on Instagram revealed the gender of the Bindi Irwin baby. And the daughter of the late Steve Irwin, along with her husband, Chandler Powell, have such touching words for their little one!

In 2006, the sudden death of the "Crocodile Hunter", Steve Irwin, shocked the world.

Since then, Steve's widow, Terri Irwin, and their children, Bindi Irwin and Robert Irwin, have carried on his legacy. And it's been especially touching to watch Bindi and Robert grow up with the same love and passion for wildlife conservation as their dad.

Now, Bindi Irwin and her husband, Chandler Powell, will embark on one of life's greatest adventures -- parenthood!

Gender Reveal For Bindi Irwin Baby

Chandler Powell and Bindi Irwin got married at the Australia Zoo on March 25, 2020. And just a few months later, the newlyweds had big news to share.

Bindi Irwin was going to have a baby!

The happy couple announced the pregnancy on Instagram, holding up a baby-sized version of their Zoo uniform with the caption, "Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021."

After that, Bindi continued providing updates as her little one grows. And that included another touching Instagram post revealing the sex of the Bindi Irwin baby!

"Baby girl, you are our world," the photo caption read. "Our beautiful daughter is now about the same size as a hatchling Aldabra tortoise and is as healthy as can be. We can’t wait for her arrival next year."

This is such an exciting time for the couple. And in these trying times, good news like this is certainly something we can all rally around.

Bindi Irwin's Instagram fans were quick to express their excitement over her baby and offer up kind words of encouragement.

"Congratulations! The next generation of wildlife warriors begins," wrote one person.

"Aww congratulations on a little girl. Your dad would be so excited. I can just imagine how he would react," commented another fan.

Several fans even suggested Bindi Irwin name her baby girl Stevie, in honor of her late father.

The Blessing Of Children

It's amazing to see how excited Bindi and Chandler are. And both recognize what an incredible gift this little miracle is.

"It is such a blessing knowing that this tiny person has chosen us as parents," Bindi Irwin wrote when recounting the moment she first discovered she would be having a baby.

Bindi also reveled in the joys that await her and Chandler once they welcome this new life into the world.

"Our baby Wildlife Warrior is going to be so very loved by our families and entire Australia Zoo team. I can’t wait to find out what this amazing new soul loves in life, and experience the world all over again through their eyes," she said.
