Amazing Grace is an amazing song!
There is no doubt God gave John Legend a gift with this beautiful voice. But when you hear his powerful rendition of 'Amazing Grace' you'll be beyond amazed. I just love it when music fills your heart with warmth. That's the Holy Spirit. What other gospel classic makes you feel that way?
"Amazing Grace" is a Christian hymn that was originally published in 1779, with lyrics written by an English poet and preacher, John Newton (1725–1807).
Newton wrote the words from personal experience offering a message that forgiveness and redemption are possible regardless of sins committed. And that our souls can be delivered from despair through the mercy of God! "Amazing Grace" is one of the most recognizable songs in the English-speaking world.
