10 Contemporary Christian Songs For A Wedding

Summers are a time filled with celebrations of every kind from graduations to weddings. Weddings are most popular in the Months of May, June, July, August and September. If you’re still planning your wedding or have allowed some leeway room, maybe you should consider adding one (or a few) of these 10 Contemporary Christian songs for a wedding to your playlist.

A friend of mine recently brought this song to my attention as she has been planning for her wedding. She asked me to give it a listen so I did. I listened to the song about three times in a row right off the bat because I enjoyed the message of the song so much. It takes a looks at 1 Corinthians 13 and puts parts of it to song. Through the Bible we have access to a great definition of love and what it is and is not. This song is not only perfect for a wedding but it’s a great reminder for how we should love as Christ loved us.

It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends”(1 Corinthians 13:4-8).
