Doorman’s Stunning ‘Come Fly With Me’ Audition On Britain’s Got Talent
A 42-year-old doorman with an angelic voice left everyone in shock, the judges included, with his outstanding audition, singing a Frank Sinatra classic on Britain’s Got Talent.
Television shows like American Idol, The Voice and America’s Got Talent give people a chance to show off their God-given talents in front of the world. These previously undiscovered talented people may not have had an opportunity to show others what they can do. As those shows have shown over the years, sometimes that is all people need: a chance.
In a clip posted on YouTube, Neil Fullard, before taking the stage, explained that singing has always been something he has loved. But not having the confidence to perform in front of others, he has kept that desire hidden for 20 years. Neil said he has never sung in front of others, keeping his performances to much smaller venues.
“I don’t actually sing anywhere, but in me house,” Neil said. “Just in the bath, in the shower and in the car.”
Seconds later, Neil took his place on the stage. He is incredibly nervous, which is written all over his face. After a quick back and forth with the judges, Neil is off and running.
But then something unbelievable happens, and the entire studio audience and the judges cannot believe their ears. Perhaps they are playing tricks on them?
That is not the case at all. Neil begins belting out the lyrics to “Come Fly with Me.” It’s fantastic! If you only listened to the clip and not watched it, you might think Frank Sinatra was singing.
The 42-year-old doorman is outstanding, and the judges let him know as well, giving him three yes votes.
We have all been blessed with different abilities, talents and skills. Yes, trying something new and pursuing a lifelong dream is a scary idea, but we never know how good we might be until we at least try. God gave us those talents and skills to use, not to keep hidden.
Psalm 104:33 “I will make songs to the Lord all my life; I will make melody to my God while I have my being.”
