A comedian’s hilarious take on Alexa and everything AI has everyone laughing. Drew Dunn shared his thoughts and opinions on artificial intelligence and the direction he hopes Microsoft takes regarding an Alexa-type device. Technology is constantly improving and progressing. Modern technology has become so advanced today that you can have an entire conversation with Amazon’s Alexa. You can tell it to do several tasks for you, and it’ll complete them all momentarily.
But is this ever-expanding field of artificial intelligence moving too fast? Maybe it should slow down just a tad or at least take it easy while humans try to catch up and understand what these machines are capable of. In the clip posted on YouTube, Drew has several hilarious thoughts about Amazon’s Alexa and what he would like to see from artificial intelligence.
“After we got it, that was the first thing my wife asked,” he said. “She was like, ‘Do you think it does that? Do you think it spies on us and sends it to the government?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, probably. We just put a microphone hooked to the internet on our coffee table. I hope it’s only the government.’”
Later in the clip, he mentioned what he hopes Microsoft does with their version of Alexa. This is easily the funniest part of the entire clip.
“I wish Microsoft would come out with an Alexa that’s powered by Microsoft Sam,” he said. “And he’s just upset that everyone’s forgotten about him all these years. I’m like, ‘Hey, Sam. What? What’s the weather like today? Why don’t you look out the window yourself, you lazy human filth?’ That would be fun.”
He said Microsoft’s Sam could possibly play pranks as it takes commands from humans. He added that Sam might even be able to help you lose weight as it rudely judges what and how much you eat.
