Cristabelle Braden

Hi, my name is Cristabelle and I write songs about life.
My favorite color is coral. I love sunflowers and spicy food. My family means everything to me, and I have two beautiful sisters. My favorite artist is Jimmy Needham (and I got to open for him in April 2012!!). I’m in college with a double major: music and religion. I’m a volunteer leader with Young Life. I want to play music for God for the rest of my life, and I’m super excited about it! My first album, Harmony, released in May 2011. It was written out of a time when faith in God became all I had to hold onto.

When I was 14 years old I had a very serious traumatic brain injury. All of a sudden, my entire life was turned upside down. My cognitive function was seriously impaired and every single aspect of my life changed; I lost every essence of who I was. But then Jesus Christ entered my heart and He showed me that even though I didn’t know who I was, He did… He always has, and always will. God has never given up on me, and He will never give up on you. Ever.
And that’s why I’m writing music.
