Nate Bargatze Hilariously Shares His Culture Shock Traveling Abroad

Nate Bargatze hilariously shares his culture shock when traveling abroad. The popular and talented funnyman mentioned that his eyes were opened when he went overseas. Watch the short and hysterical clip to hear what surprised Nate the most when he took his act across the ocean.

Who doesn’t enjoy traveling? Being on vacation is one of the best things in life. Going somewhere where you’ve never been, exploring all that this new land, this new place has to offer, is the biggest joy when it comes to traveling. No matter where you go, you’ll get to see, do, taste and smell things you don’t when at home.

When people travel to different countries, especially to a place as old as Europe, some will experience what can only be described as culture shock. Everything is so different from what they are used to that it can be difficult to comprehend. Not only do Europeans live very differently from Americans, but their structures and buildings are also ancient. Some have been around for thousands of years, while the United States of America is relatively new and young.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Nate mentioned that he experienced this when he went over to Europe and Australia. He described what he saw and experienced with his trademark humor and wit that will have you doubled over with laughter.

“If you go to Europe, just so you know, it’s the most old,” he explained to the audience. “It’s very old. You think we’re old, and you get there and you’re like, ‘Good night! What have y’all been doing over here?’ You just walk around, they’re like, ‘That building is from eight.’ You’re like, ‘Good golly!’”

He had a similar experience when he traveled to Australia. Although it was so much the age of the country that surprised him, it was the incredible distance that he had to go just to get to the land down under.

Proverbs 17:22 “A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.”
