The Sacred Choir Credo was founded by Nikolay Neverov and Aleksey Tkachenko on January 1, 1992. Credo consisted of the third wave of emigrants from Russia, Ukraine and other republics from the former Soviet Union. All of the members had a previous experience singing in church choirs. Credo’s repertoire consisted of Russian sacred music written in different historical times. In the beginning, the choir performed music as a part of the Sunday services at the Russian Baptist Church in West Sacramento.
