Leanne Morgan’s response to her child’s tough question has everyone laughing. The popular comedian responded to her child in a hysterical yet relatable way. Watch the short but hilarious clip to hear the challenging question and Leanne’s response that had the entire audience cracking up.
Children are, without a doubt, the biggest, most wonderful blessing that any of us will receive on Earth. There is nothing like being a parent. Mother or father is the most important and meaningful position and title you will ever hope to obtain. Those little ones add incalculable amounts of joy and happiness to every home and household.
However, while your little ones are blessings and you wouldn’t trade time with them for anything, not every parenting moment is memorable. Some will be downright awful. Your nerves and your patience will be consistently tested and stretched to the limit. Additionally, children have a habit of asking their parents challenging questions. A clip posted on YouTube proves this to be the case.
In the video, Leanne, who frequently talks about her family during her stand-up routine, shared a parenting moment that took place before she became a touring comedian. She received a challenging question from one of her youngsters. It’s one that would have caused many parents to momentarily freeze as they try to come up with a remotely suitable and acceptable response.
“When I was a young mama, I always had a minivan,” she said. “And Chuck Morgan was out making us a wonderful living, but he was gone, traveling all over the United States. And everybody would be crying and yelling, and that sensitive baby, that middle one, would ask me deep, deep questions.”
Later in the clip, Leanne revealed one of the questions she received from the child and how she answered.
“For example, questions about the solar system,” she added. “Finally, one day, I said, ‘Baby, I didn’t pay attention in school. Is there anything you’d like to know about ‘Young and the Restless’?”
That’s one way to answer that question.
Proverbs 17:22 “A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.”
