Psalm 27:10 tells us, "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up."
Even though we don't deserve God's love, He freely gives it to us. We are no different than these babies, lost in the dark, alone, needing someone to love us, brilliantly! Only as God can!!!
