Sweet Kitten Named Coraline Loses Both Her Eyes, but Inspires Many with Her Spirit

A sweet and lovable kitten named Coraline has lost both of her eyes, but her determination, resilience and spirit have inspired many people. According to Pet Helpful, when she was rescued, Coraline’s eyes were found to be in horrible shape. Sadly, she had to have both removed, but that has not slowed her down.

Life, as most already understand, is a series of ups and downs. Sadly, not everything will go our way. We’ll all experience painful, heartbreaking and sorrow-inducing situations. That hurt, and the heartache will not go away immediately, either. They will linger, likely for quite some time, and we might even struggle with the will or desire to keep going.

Coraline Displayed Much Determination and Resilience

Coraline is the perfect example of someone who has gone through something painful and likely unfair but has displayed much determination and resilience. In a clip on TikTok, the kitten’s owner mentions that she was found as a stray. Much of her background is unknown, but she was found with her eyes badly hurt and infected. The vets had no choice but to remove the young kitten’s eyes.

In that short clip where the kitten’s owner talks about her background, Coraline loudly purrs, climbs on and licks her owner.

Many people on social media responded with kind words, sharing how much they loved and adored the lovable blind kitten.

She is Fierce

“Coraline is such a fierce and brave girl,” one person posted.

“The cutest little angel, thank you for saving her,” someone else wrote.

“She is beautiful…..Coraline is a perfect name….what a fighter!!! Black cats are awesome,” another person added.

Despite what she has experienced, the little kitten appears to be so sweet and living life as if she is not blind at all. In a second clip posted on social media, the woman provides an update on Coraline’s surprising progress. Coraline is living and enjoying life just like every other kitten.

“She is so independent already,” Coraline’s owner said. “And she’s so much cleaner with eating. She doesn’t put her whole face into it. She’s just doing phenomenal!”

Later in the video, Coraline’s owner mentioned that the kitten wants to be free to enjoy and explore her new surroundings. She is already trying to climb and has absolutely no problem locating her food bowl.
