Dean Cain is leaving California and Hollywood behind, and it’s all because of his faith.
In a thrilling revelation, the iconic Superman of the 1990s, Dean Cain, has embarked on an exciting new chapter in his life, bidding farewell to Hollywood in the pursuit of a deeper connection with his savior, Jesus Christ. The 57-year-old actor now lives in Las Vegas and recently shared his fervent decision with the world, expressing his unwavering enthusiasm for this transformative move.

The love and guidance found in Christ became the anchor, shaping Dean's worldview and reinforcing his belief that, above all else, Jesus mattered most. This pivotal realization marked the beginning of a personal journey with faith that would ultimately lead Dean to make life-altering decisions after his son Christopher started asking questions about life and death.

Fatherhood was the catalyst that helped Dean understand the boundless love our heavenly Father has for us. As parents navigate the intricate tapestry of raising children, each moment becomes a revelation, offering a glimpse into the unconditional love and unwavering patience God showers upon His children.

“I started to raise this kid — and I knew he was more important in the world than me,” he said. Dean continued, saying, “I started having to answer questions, even to him. I remember when he learned that he was going to die someday. … That’s around the time that I realized, you know, he needs to understand faith and understand why we’re here and have that make sense to him,” Dean said.
Dean found himself at a crossroads, grappling with the weighty responsibility of guiding his son through the uncertainties of existence. It was during these moments when Dean realized the significance of introducing Christopher to our Heavenly Father. In facing the inevitability of death, Dean recognized that Jesus's message transcended all other pursuits in life.

In the realm of entertainment, Dean has always prioritized Christian films, but he realized living in Hollywood was hindering his faith. So, Dean Cain ultimately decided he'd be leaving California and Hollywood behind him.
“You see a lot of debauchery in Hollywood. I’ve been debaucherous myself; I’ve done things that I’m not proud of. I’ve asked forgiveness for those things, and I’ve mended my ways. There’s just so many things about being there,” he said. He couldn’t be more proud as his son Christopher is following in his footsteps and leaving Hollywood behind, too.

As Dean shared about his departure from Hollywood and his support for faith-based films, he added, "And I'll just say, God and I have a lot more conversations now than we did when I was 25.” His decision reflects a deep conviction and a prioritization of faith, family, and values over the allure of Tinseltown.

“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life,” John 8:12.
