Customer Paid For Everyone In A Country Diner And This 1 Small Act Meant So Much

A customer paid for the meals of 60 strangers at the Country Diner in Pennsylvania, as well as tipped the two waitresses working $100. And the special blessing left everyone in awe!

When a stranger came in to eat alone at the Country Diner in Hegins Township, Pennsylvania, it was nothing out of the ordinary.

But when the woman finished her meal and stepped up to the counter with her bill, that's when something incredible happened.

The kind customer paid her own bill, but also picked up the tab for everyone else in the restaurant!

“I waited on this lady, and it was time for her to pay her bill, and came up to the register and said she would like to pay for everyone’s bill," recalled the Country Diner's manager, Lorrie Renninger. "I’m like, ‘Are you sure?’ and she was like, ‘Yes.’"

A Kind Deed Is Priceless

The total for everyone's meal came to $350. But the Good Samaritan, who wished to remain anonymous, didn't stop there. The customer paid everyone's tab and also left a $100 tip for the two servers working the lunch shift.

The unexpected act of kindness had a huge impact. With business still suffering from the impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic, it was a big boost for morale to see kindness alive and well.

"It was really, really helpful," one of the servers said. "When money's tight, a kind hand goes a long way."

At times, the darkness in this world can feel overwhelming. But a simple act of kindness can help restore faith in humanity!
