Chrissy Teigen Instagram Reveals Joyful Blessing With John Legend Months After Devastating Loss

The Chrissy Teigen Instagram account made a very special announcement concerning the star and her husband, John Legend. Twenty-two months after suffering a devastating loss, God blessed the couple with the gift of a rainbow baby!

Pregnancy is truly a blessing from the Lord. But for many women, their pregnancy journey is marred with disappointment and heartache.

Through IVF (in vitro fertilization), Chrissy Teigen and John Legend were blessed with two children, 6-year-old daughter Luna and 4-year-old son Miles. And the couple was joyously expecting their third child in 2020 when tragedy struck.

Pregnancy complications landed Chrissy on bed rest, but continued blood loss eventually put her in the hospital. There, Chrissy Teigen experienced a terrible loss, which she shared on her Instagram account.

“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we've never felt before,” Chrissy shared on social media. “We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn't enough.”

As a family, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, along with their two children -- Luna and Miles -- mourned the loss together. But they found joy again when God sent a special blessing!

Following the heartbreaking loss and with no plans to undergo IVF again, Chrissy didn't think she'd ever be pregnant again.

"Coming to terms with not being able to carry again is still really difficult for me because I feel so healthy. I'm like, why?" she lamented.

However, Chrissy remained grateful for the incredible blessing she has in Luna and Miles and remained open to other options for growing their family.
