Woman Walks into Hospital Room to Find Out She's Become a Grandma & Everyone's in Tears

This woman knew she was going to become a grandma. But she didn't know her daughter had already delivered the baby. So, it's no wonder she burst into tears upon walking into the hospital room!

Becoming a parent and welcoming a child into the world is one of life’s biggest blessings. Children add so much joy, happiness and love to one’s life. Watching them grow and learn is unlike anything else in life.

For those who are grandparents, all of that is true. But grandma and grandpa get a few added perks. They get to spoil their grandchildren with love and anything else their hearts desire. But the children return home with their parents at the end of the day. Grandparents get the fun parts without all the crying and tantrums.

Like becoming a parent, being a grandmother or grandfather is another blessing from the good Lord.

Woman Discovers She's Become A Grandma

A clip posted on YouTube shows the moment a woman learns she is a grandmother. The tears immediately begin flowing – from the new grandmother and the new mom.

The short video begins with the new grandmother walking into the room as she looks down at her phone. She has no idea that her daughter has given birth, delivering her first grandchild, a beautiful baby girl.

The clip’s narrator informs viewers that the daughter didn’t tell her mother that she had gone into labor. Apparently, she wanted the arrival of the child to be a surprise. 

And it was the best surprise possible!

The camera catches the new grandmother as she approaches the hospital bed and her stunned first look at her daughter holding the baby. The woman stops dead in her tracks. She looks at the camera for a second or two and is then overcome with emotion. The realization hits that she's just become a grandma!

She approaches her daughter and grandchild and wraps them both up in a warm and loving embrace. Through her happiness and tears, the new grandmother even waves off the camera capturing the tender moment.

She is going to love being a grandmother!
