God's Special Birthday Gift
Can you remember the very best birthday present you ever received? Arizona mom, Aimee Hernando, will certainly never forget hers. That's because on the same day she celebrated her 33rd birthday, she also gave birth to her little girl. But what makes it even more memorable is the fact that the same thing happened to Aimee's mom 33 years ago! Credit: ABC News That's right. That means that three generations -- mother, daughter and grandma -- all share the exact same birthday! [rsnippet id="3" name="Article-Ad"] When Aimee had learned that her due date was near to her mother's and her own, she'd wondered if the tradition might continue.“I just thought, 'Oh, how great would that be to experience that myself. Three generations would just be really crazy.' And it happened.”Credit: ABC News It was just another reminder that God was at work. Aimee and her husband had struggled with fertility, until God blessed them with their son, who joined their two adopted sons, ages 11 and 8. Fourteen months later, Aimee gave birth to their daughter.
“[She is] a miracle from God,” grandmother, Tammy, declared.Credit: ABC News And that's precisely why Aimee and her husband chose to name Miracle Joy for the sweet, little girl. And yet another striking resemblance shared by all 3 generations was the sequence of their birth weights.
“My mom’s birth weight was 6 pounds 10 ounces, mine was 6 pounds 9 ounces, and Miracle’s was 6 pounds 8 ounces,” Aimee explains. “We just thought that was so cool!”Credit: ABC News What an incredible blessing and special memory for the family!
