Beloved Sister is an original R&B/Hip-Hop/Inspirational harmony singing group family that follows and promotes these guiding principles: Love, Hope, Care, Faith, Patience, Peace. The four young singers who make up Beloved Sister are actually sisters and have been singing together all of their lives. Najé and Jayla are fraternal twins, age 17. Méami turned 16 on Valentine's Day, and Kira is 13 years old, making her the youngest in the group. Each sister sings lead vocals and background vocals in harmony. After experiencing a Beloved Sister performance, people often say that they are inspired by these young powerful singers; many feeling excitement and enthusiasm, some even shedding tears of emotion after hearing Beloved Sister Since 2005, these four girls have been regularly performing as Beloved Sister in and around the San Francisco Bay Area and throughout California, beginning with their First Place performance in the 2003 McKinley Elementary School Talent Show in Tracy, CA, up to their recent performance at the 102nd Annual NAACP National Convention in Los Angeles. Usually singing all original material, but sometimes doing covers of songs that inspire them, Beloved Sister makes the statement that it is okay to be yourself, to speak up, and to be a loving Between practices, rehearsals, performances, schoolwork, (and chores,) and getting proper rest, the girls like to spend their time listening to music, talking with friends, playing outside, watching movies and cartoons, playing video games, acting and writing, and of course making music. They sincerely hope to "make the world a better place" with songs that are both entertaining and inspirational. Originally from Oakland, CA, Beloved Sister now resides in Stockton, CA, and still often perform at community events and benefits, though they are ever more focused on bigger things yet to come.
